[Physics Tips] Speak the language

Hi student,

Welcome to our Physics Tips Daily - a newsletter on insider's tips and tricks in how to study physics smartly. Each day, you will receive an article and/or a visual tutorial on how to survive and excel in physics.

Today's topic is on how to speak the language of physics.

Learning physics is like learning a new language. Learn and practice the textual and mathematics terminology and of physics. When you start to speak like a physicist, you will pick up a good sense of physics.

When writing and speaking, be sure to use the correct terms. Many physics terms have specific meanings that might be different from the common/everyday usages.

The terms velocity and speed are often used interchangeably, even though they aren't identical. Speed and acceleration are often confused by students. They both relate to motion, but they have very different meaning.

Electric potential and electric potential energy are two totally different things. It's an unfortunate coincidence that the terms are so similar.

Be sure to watch the small details. Switching a + or a - sign can make a world of difference. Signs often refer to directions.

One last tip, there are many new physics terminologies and expressions you will encounter. How do you speak like the real pro - the physicist? The easiest way is to listen to the physicist talk. Each of the rapid learning physics tutorial video has a physicist to narrate through each slide. You will not only learn the concepts of physics, and you also learn how to speak in physics.

One more, OK, this is the absolute last tip: For many foreign students, learn to speak scientifically is much harder than learning everyday English. By studying our video tutorials with voice over, you master the physics and English the same time. Each of our experts is a 100% native speaker in English. The best way to learn a language is to try to understand it. What better way than professionally narrated science lectures?

To sum up, the tip for the day: Learn to speak the language of physics and listen to how the physicists talk via narrated physics tutorials.

That should do it for today! Let's master physics the EASY way! "See" you tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Seize the Day!

PS: student, would you like to know my formula of success in physics? Knowing this formula could give you the edge in class and better grade in physics. Are you ready? Here it is ...
>> Physics Mastery = Core-Concepts + Problem-Solving + Super Review.
There you have it! It's that simple - just identify and understand the core concepts and their inter-connections, then apply them to problem solving and finally super study the cheat sheets. You will be able to walk in to ace that exam with total confidence. Watch this movie and learn about this secret formula: http://www.rapidlearningcenter.com/TheMovie.html

PPS: I guess your next question is "How?" Well, I got that covered too. The short answer is our "Physics in 24 Hours" rapid learning series.
